A+Glamour is a unique Photography Holiday to the Heart of Portugal. We cater for all levels of Glamour-enthusiasts, be it professional, semi-professional or the complete newbie ! All of our excursions are centered around making stunning glamourphotos ranging from extremely short dresses, to topless and nude. Compiling these excursions and finding the perfect models was no easy task but we are confident that we have succeeded in offering something for everyone, every single day !
You can expect to be welcomed with open arms. A nice cocktail will be waiting for you. You'll have ample time to get acquainted with your home away from home, your collegues and the A+Glamour Team, enjoy a nice dinner and get a good night's rest.
Since our venue is located in the middle of it's own valley with a picturesque river running through it and some ruins scattered in between the forest, there is more than enough opportunity to please any photographer's eye. It also ensures we are never bothered by onlookers. Our river and private beach are of course also ideal for swimming, sunbathing & relaxing.
"Wounded Rock" is wonderful waterfall near the pretty village of Espinhal (where we live). The trip there alone is worth the trouble since we will be passing by some very nice typical houses, a unique tree and lovely naturesights and watermillruins. The waterfall itself can be reached via a nature-walk with a few tiny climbs so be sure to bring a pair of good shoes. We will most likely be all alone at the waterfall !
Awe-inspiring nature vistas, easy to spot wildlife, a great fishinglocation and even the chance to take a canoe out on the river Alge. And again, most of the trip we will be all alone.
We will be visiting both the Praia Fluvial or "riverbeach" with the water running through a magnificent series of cliffs, stones and boulders and the Xisto-village of San Simão. This traditional village is built nearly entirely out of shale and simply begs to be photographed.
A chance to admire and discuss eachothers work. And of course some time for relaxation !
After a very nice breakfast, everyone gets the chance to gather their things, say their goodbyes and set off on the trip home.

You are a photographer who's interested in glamourphotography. You'd like to combine the beauty of our models with the wonderful vistas our area has to offer. You like combining your hobby or job with some holiday fun.
You are the above mentioned photographer's partner. You love assisting him in his adventures or ... you hate assisting him ... or you love posing for him ! In any case, you'll have a wonderful time because we cater for photographers, models and non-photographers alike. You can join your partner on the photo-excursions or enjoy the extra-curricular activities (shopping, relaxing, beauty-treatments) we have lined up for you. If you like to model, we have stylists available and we'll help you with your posing.

Patrick
Patrick started his career as a photographer as an extension to his work for television. Because he worked mainly with models, he specialised in "people-photography".
His main styles are commercial/fashion, fine-artphotography and glamour, all genres in which his relaxing demeanor with people is extremely useful.

Aside from his photography he now also enjoys entertaining his many guests in Glampelo, his very own "glamourous camping" terrain in Portugal.
Patrick is a sci-fi fan and loves his wife Inga and kids, Maxime & Sean. But as a true workaholic he keeps himself occupied with teaching, organising events and "public speaking"
Inga
Inga has earned credits as a model, stylist and make-up artist through (inter)national catwalks, magazineshoots and televisionwork.
Her "newest" challenge in life has her catering for the guests in Glampelo, Portugal, where she also offers extra services like Japanese Facial massage and make-up classes.
Inga is a busy bee and sees it as the ultimate challenge to make her guests, customers or models, feel like superstars.
James
James Prince is the organiser of a successful photography event group based in London and publisher of a major model industry magazine with almost ten years experience of publishing & event management.
Our Models
A glamour photo trip wouldn't be very glamourous if it wasn't for the models. There will always be at least four experienced models available every day. Which ones will depend entirely on you (see the competition by clicking the "models" tab on the left)
Why a competition ?
We’ll be using a voting system to help us pick the models who will join us here in sunny Portugal. After all, there are two very good reasons to use a voting system :
Of course everyone can vote for his/her favorite model, but photographers who will actually be joining us on the holiday/workshop get an advantage : At the end of the competition, we expect all our partaking photographers to send us an e-mail in which they can hand out no less than 50 votes !!!
Your favorite model will then get 20 votes, second place gets 10 votes, third place gets 15 votes and forth place gets 5 votes. This could of course shift the balance of voting quite considerably but we think it's only fair that the photographers who will actually be here get a bigger say !

Glampelo is situated in the heart of Portugal near the village of Penela (slightly south of Coimbra). Close to many attractions (nature, wildlife, birds, culture, shopping, archeology, sports, leisure) but still extremely private. After all, the domain has it's own private valley with a river running through it.

How to get there
If you book well in advance you can get extremely cheap fares with different airlines from the UK and Ireland to Portugal (preferably Porto or Lisbon).
If you like, James can also book your flights at the very best prices, don't hesitate to ask !
We have some excursions planned in the surroundig areas so renting a car (very cheap with Sunnycars) could prove very useful. If you do rent a car, it might be a good idea to rent a 4x4 which will allow you to explore even more of the countryside.
